EXCITING UPDATES AND HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR FALL 2014 SEASON:

MSA Coaches Cup

Columbus, MS

October 25-26, 2014

Give the DCSA U-12 Lady Tigers a big round of applause. The Lady Tigers went to the Coaches Cup down 1 player as they started their 4 game series. They played hard all weekend with no substitutions and worked as a team as they took their first 2 games 6-1, 9-5. As the Lady Tigers returned the following morning, they trailed first place and held second place by only 1 point so it was crucial that they stop their opponents' goals and score some of their own. They played the team that was trailing close behind them on their last game and it was a must tie/win situation. During the 3rd qtr the goalie hurt her wrist and had to come out of the game. They entered the fourth quarter behind 5-3 so at least 2 goals were needed to secure 2nd place.

Then with grit and determination the girls played their FINEST and hardest!  With sweat dripping from their foreheads our DCSA Lady Tigers scored 2 goals to tie the game 5/5 at the final whistle.

All of DCSA can be proud of these Lady Tigers and coaches as they took home the 2nd place trophy in the
U-12 Girls Gold Division!
